Christian Chiavetta - Christian is a diehard Mets, Rangers, and Giants fan who has been following New York sports since his early childhood. He checks all of the sports blogs, websites, and newspapers around 1000 times a day, looking for any news relating to his favorite teams. He is a graduate of New York University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Chemistry from The Graduate Center of the City University of New York.
Tim Sharobem - Tim is a senior at Columbia University. He has had previous sports writing experience as a contributing writer for e-sports.com. Tim grew up a Mets, Cowboys, Rangers, and Knicks fan. He often frequents metsblog.com and enjoys writers such as Bob Klapisch, Mike Lupica, Bill Simmons, Jemele Hill, and Don Banks. Tim will serve as a roving blogger, talking about all sports as well as critiquing media coverage.
Bill Slattery - A 2007 graduate of Fordham University, Bill is a die-hard fan of the New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys. He will be writing mostly about baseball and football, since those are his two favorite sports and he has no use for the NBA or NHL. He is also a big fan of both Duke basketball and Fordham basketball, so he will have something to say about them also. Most of what Bill writes will be opinion-based, since that is his favorite type of journalism. His favorite sports writers include Peter Abraham, Jon Heyman, Buster Olney, Peter Gammons, Ken Rosenthal, Don Banks, Peter King and Jim Callis. His hobbies include playing any kind of sports (especially softball) and watching sports. Bill has an MBA in Finance from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business.
Steve Sharobem - Steve is a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Originally from the tri-state area, Steve grew up a Mets, Giants, Knicks and Rangers fan. Beginning in 1999, he began his sport-writing career publishing through various on-line websites including e-sports.com. Although he will offer his insights on all major sports, Steve’s particular expertise is in baseball.
