The Nets Look Good

In case you missed it, the Nets have won seven of eight and are now a game above .500. Playing the Bobcats and Hawks help, but the Nets also scored a win at Orlando earlier this week.

So what is the secret to the team revival?

Julian Garcia in the NY Daily News attributes it to the infusion of youth in the starting lineup with Josh Boone and Sean Williams showing the ability to run the J Kidd fast break and provide a defensive presence in the paint.

Garcia also notes that in the last nine games, Vince Carter is averaging 23.5 points and Richard Jefferson is averaging 24.6. That helps, huh? Maybe with the new found winning formula Jason Kidd will stop hinting at trade requests…
