The Nets defeated the Orlando Magic 96-95 in a thrilling ballgame in which they overcame a a fifteen point deficit. The Nets led 15-13 in the first quarter and didn’t lead again until a jumper by Malik Allen with 4:32 left in the game.
The game ball belongs to backup point guard Darrell Armstrong who played for many years in Orlando. The forty something scored 13 points including a three to take a 94-93 lead with 50 seconds left.
…Great win for the Nets, it was exciting to watch. With the Bobcats and Hawks coming up on the schedule, the Nets could get into a nice little rhythm…
